The Mission Historical Museum, Inc. is a private non-profit organization dedicated to preserving the history and heritage of the City of Mission through the operation of the Mission Historical Museum.
The Mission Historical Museum is a non-profit organization whose staff takes pride in their dedication toward the preservation of the unique history and heritage of the City of Mission. At the present time, the museum boasts nine differently themed exhibit rooms along with traveling exhibits that can be seen at the Speer Memorial Library and the City Hall.
Within the first three years of its existence, the Mission Historical Museum has grown from a vacant building to nine exhibit rooms, and with the opening of the old post office building, its expansion and success will continue.

Admission Fees
Museum DirectorEducation: Mission High School graduate and majored in Social Work at the University of Texas-Pan American.
Work Experience: From 1988-1993, worked in Special Education and as a Transition Planner for MCISD. From 1993-1998, worked as the Executive Director of the Mission Main Street Project and Historic Preservation Officer. Since 1998, has worked as an Executive Assistant to the City Manager. Duties include fielding citizen complaints, handling special projects and multiple clerical duties.
