Education: Graduate of Mission High School. Attended Pan American University. 1989 graduate of Leadership Mission. Attended numerous conferences related to city government such as Texas Municipal League Conference, Texas Municipal Retirement System Conference, Election Law Seminar and Urban County Leadership Conference.

Work Experience: 1978-2001 Assistant Manager/Advertising Manager for Mission Publishing Company dba Progress Times. October 2001 to June 2004 City Secretary/Administrative Assistant for City of Alton. Mrs. Carrillo is also the Assistant to the Mayor, handling his schedule and appointments.

Vital Statistics is responsible for registering and issuing birth and death certificates. The Vital Statistics Division is located adjacent to the front lobby of City Hall. They are linked to the State Registrar's Office. Therefore, anyone born in the state of Texas may obtain his/her birth certificate from this office.
