Crime Stoppers
The Mission Crime Stoppers has been an effective tool for solving crimes in our community. This program consists of the Mission Police Department having a telephone line available 24 hours a day for concerned citizens that want to report suspicious/criminal activities, as well as an email address to report similar activities. The caller does not have to identify himself/herself when providing information on this line. If the information provided leads to the arrest and grand jury indictment of any person or people involved in the reported crime, the caller will be eligible for a cash reward of as much as $1,000 dollars. The caller does not have to testify in court. All calls/emails are confidential.
The Mission Crime Stoppers Program is part of our Crime Prevention Unit. The Mission Police Department strongly believes in getting the community involved in our everyday activities. Programs, such as Neighborhood Crime Watch, help educate our citizens, preventing them from becoming victims of crime.
