Criminal Investigations Bureau
The Mission Police Departments Criminal Investigation Bureau is composed of a team of Criminal Investigators, Juvenile Crime Investigators, task force officers, and a traffic investigations unit.

Detention Center
The Mission Police Department is equipped with a 24 hour, 7 day a week detention center.

Mission Police K-9 Unit
The K-9 Teams are used for a wide array of tasks, which include drug detection, locating fleeing suspects, missing persons, explosive detection, crime scene evidence and missing articles.

Municipal Court
The Municipal Court is the Judicial Branch of Government of the City of Mission. The courts hear Class C Misdemeanor cases, to include criminal, traffic, juvenile, and city ordinance violations.

Patrol
The Patrol Bureau is primarily responsible for responding to calls for service, enforcing traffic laws, and preventive patrol. Patrol officers also conduct preliminary investigations of criminal activity discovered or reported during their tour of duty.
