Overview
The Meter Reader Department is responsible for the monthly reading of the City's 27,000 +/- water meters for billing. The department also handles the connection of new accounts for service, along with the disconnection and reconnection of water services due to payment issues, as well as the re-checking of meter reads due to customer questions. In addition to reading meters, this department is responsible for changing out water meters that are not working properly.
